
Galactic Quest
First person shooter - Link to the game
My role - I decided to design a first person shooting game in space. Starting with creating a storyline of having it be in the space where the player have to fight the alien robots to steal their jewel. I then went on to designing my characters and assets for the game.
For the development part of the game, I started by creating the environment on unity. The aliens, gun, health, amo and the jewel were 3D modelled, textured, rigged and animation on Maya and imported to unity. Using C# on Unity I was able to develop the shooting and movement of the player. I also added the UI which was the target, health and amo bar.
In this immersive and action-packed first-person shooter game, players find themselves transported to a mysterious planet. Their ultimate objective is to locate and retrieve a valuable jewel, rumoured to be embedded within an ancient stone artifact. This jewel possesses a remarkable power, it grants the one who possesses it infinite lives.
The game has a maze-like environment, designed to challenge players at every turn. As they navigate through the rooms, players encounter an army of alien robots, guarding the prized jewel.
